6 Apps to Help You Manage Burnout

The Best Calming Apps to Manage Burnout

You're not alone if burnout affects your job, relationship or personal life. It can wear you down and make you tired, just like others experiencing it.

However, the good news is that there are calming apps to help you deal with burnout. I wanted to provide a few recommendations, so here are six apps to help you deal with burnout:

Insight Timer

The Insight Timer prides itself on being your "Everyday Wellbeing for Sleep, Anxiety, and Stress." It's a free meditation app with thousands of guided meditations, sleep music tracks from famous artists, and meditation and mindfulness talks from university experts. These features help you calm your mind, reduce anxiety, manage stress, and sleep well.

Headspace

Headspace is a calming app with mindful meditation and relaxing music to help you manage your Sleep, stress, and anxiety. It contains guided and sleep meditation as well as breathing exercises to help you learn how to relax, manage stress, and focus your energy.

Calm

Calm is another excellent app for Sleep, meditation, and relaxation, which helps you sleep better, reduce stress, lower anxiety, and refocus your attention. It features breath-work, guided meditations, music, stretching exercises, and Sleep Stories. It also features a self-care tracker and soundscapes with over 30 soothing natural sounds and scenes to soothe your nerves. More than that, the app is free to use with no ads. I use this app daily and have it to thank for many of my daily meditations.

Pzizz

Pzizz has three modes, sleep, nap and focus. I love their nap and sleep modules which help provide guided ways to take a restful nap or fall asleep, no matter how much my mind is resting. An essential part of recovering from burnout is getting high-quality rest, and this is the top app for the job!

My Oasis

My Oasis is a game app with calming, relaxing, and anxiety-relieving features. The app allows you to "collect hearts to collect various animals such as foxes, deer, elephants, giraffes, penguins, and whales and complete the oasis." It's an idle clicker and tapping game that is easy to play. It has a relaxing environment and no intense controls.

Calm Sleep

Calm Sleep, which is different from Calm, promises to be "the world's only free sleep app for relaxing sleep sounds and ambiences that will improve your sleep or make your short naps more effective." It features productivity, movement and sport, and meditations, all aimed at improving your health and promoting happiness. You can also use the app to relax, calm your mind, or enhance concentration.

Insight Timer, Headspace, Calm, Pziizz, My Oasis, and Calm Sleep are some calming apps that can help you manage burnout in your job, relationship, or personal life, and each has its place, depending on your preferences or needs!
